Projekt wnętrz siedziby fundacji walczącej o prawa kobiet.

PRZESTRZEŃ

Thanks to my recent social activity, not only for green areas, ecology in the face of a climate catastrophe, animal welfare but also for women's equality, I was contacted by wonderful Investors - Monika Morzyńska and Magdalena Tora,  who want to open a a place that will support women's activities. Space, because this is the name of the 170-meter apartment in a beautiful tenement house in the very center of the city, will be the seat of a foundation whose goal will be to build a mutually supportive community of Women and counteract all forms of discrimination against Women. Everything in intimate conditions with the support and commitment of Investors. By organizing paid events, running an advertising and marketing agency and a vintage shop, it will be possible to organize free forms of help for women. The space will serve as a place for photo sessions, advertising recordings, meetings with authors, Zen evenings, small concerts, meetings with clients for entrepreneurs, workshops and trainings, etc.

The apartment has a unique character of previous years - wooden parquet covered with layers of gumolith, walls repainted for several dozen years are beginning to crumble, showing the history of the building in the form of several layers of paint. Beautiful wooden casement windows let in a huge amount of natural light. The apartment is also located in a historic tenement house in which decorations with a lion motif are a characteristic element, but also a woman, which accidentally in the entire building is located only above the windows of the apartment in which Przestrzeń will be organized.

The interior of the apartment will be decorated with natural materials, preserving the existing elements and equipped with vintage furniture, thanks to the Investors' amazing knack for finding designer gems from previous years. doors will also be renovated. There will be no tiles, wallpapers or synthetic materials in the interior.  Antiqued walls made by Aganieaga will add character to the interior.wall and plaster stucco made to order by Cornica Design.

Inside, a kitchen room will be available for use, where it will be possible to record instructional videos in the field of gastronomy. The kitchen island will be finished with sheet metal and a sculpture imitating a rock, made by students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. The kitchen will be made of wooden fronts with a rectangular rail and stile set, and shelves with LED lighting will be made above the countertop, on which ceramics made during the workshops and collected by the Investors will be placed.

The apartment will be decorated with a lot of characteristic elements of equipment that the Investors fought for - from a bench made of wooden structures, supported by a found boulder, to a wall painting framed with stucco showing the aforementioned layers of wall finishing. In the living room there will be an Atlantis sofa set from Yugoslavia from the 1970s and a crystal chandelier. In the workshop room, there will be jumping chairs, also invented by the Investors for renovation, a wooden table, characteristic Wassily armchairs from the 70s, pedestals finished with a pearl mosaic and vintage lamps hanging from carved ceiling rosettes. Bathrooms will feature stone or marble sinks, gold and decorative second-hand bathroom faucets. In a small toilet, characteristic, old tiles purchased at one of the auctions will be placed on the floor. The walls will be finished with chalk paint, wiped in a shade of blue, and a polychrome will be made on the ceiling. The second bathroom will contain a glass theme - a vintage glass mirror with a backlight, a shower cabin made of glass blocks.

The entire interior will be able to serve all willing people - but for this to happen, investors need support to start. So if you are interested, I encourage you to support a little on zrzutce - https://zrzutka.pl/przestrzendlakobiet?fbclid=IwAR2rPBwiuBmfR1ZJke7k5NIAcBCo1zyfUXNHSdoDFNSVKY5NHot-UjlCpWU
