Kraków 107 m² Modern
Scope of the project:
A comprehensive interior design project including execution documentation and selection of furnishings and equipment.
Project description:
The project involved designing a 107 m² apartment spread across three levels of a building. The clients had a clear vision focused on modernist aesthetics, light plasters, French herringbone flooring, and a combination of wood with marble patterns.
The kitchen became the starting point of the design, featuring light, elegant wood textures contrasted with a Neolith Arabesque sintered stone used for the countertop and kitchen island cladding. This strong material combination defined the entire concept, allowing all other elements to remain minimal in order not to overpower the composition.
In the living area, a Camaleonda-style sofa upholstered in boucle fabric was introduced, complemented by wooden furniture elements that echo the kitchen design language.
The entrance hall was kept in a light grey palette to avoid visually overwhelming the narrow entry space.
In the guest bathroom, a creative approach was applied by cutting grey stone tiles into a herringbone pattern, turning a standard material into a distinctive design feature. The remaining finishes were kept in light grey tones, enhanced with gold accents in the fittings, shower enclosure details, and mirror frame.
The upper bathroom features tiles that directly reference the kitchen’s sintered stone pattern. Although initially challenging due to their cool appearance against the wood tones, the final result achieved the intended visual balance established in the design visualisations.
