MIELĘCKIEGO

Katowice   130 m²   Hair Salon

Scope of the project:

A comprehensive interior design project including execution documentation and selection of furnishings.

Project description:

This interior was designed for a hair salon in Katowice. The clients approached me with a clear brief: to create a salon unlike any other in the city and a space that would attract customers not only through the quality of its services but also through its exceptional interior design.

The premises were originally a residential apartment and are located in a historic tenement building listed in the heritage register. As a result, the project required obtaining an extensive range of approvals and permits, including zoning conditions, heritage conservation approval, sanitary and hygiene approval, fire safety approval, and a building permit.

The design inspiration was primarily based on monochromatic beige interiors. However, due to the popularity of this aesthetic and the client's desire to create something truly unique, I proposed combining this style with spaces finished entirely in shades of brown. These areas will create a strong contrast with the bright and uniform base palette. Another distinctive feature of the project is the use of custom-built elements clad in metal sheets with either a wave-effect texture or a smooth brushed finish.

The entire undertaking proved to be highly complex, and the results of this interior design project will soon be revealed in Katowice.
