LIGOTA

The project involved creating a coherent concept for the interior and exterior of a 500-meter-long single-family house in Chorzów. The investors wanted to achieve bright and subdued interiors, without the use of black elements. However, the local plan assumed anthracite or red roofs. The starting point was to choose rustic, red roof tiles in a style reminiscent of Italian buildings. I chose facade wood in a shade similar to walnut to match the rustic brick, so that both the roof and the facade would have coherent elements. However, the main material is Milke Long concrete brick, which I placed vertically or horizontally, marking the dividing lines from the characteristic edges of the building. Thanks to this, the rather extensive shape of the building gained order and harmony.

Similar solutions were used in the interior - everything finished with microcement and clay plasters, insulated with warm and light wood on carpentry structures and wall finishes.  The minimalist and Japanese style interiors have been designed to a premium standard.

For the interior, I also proposed changing the functional layout, in which the living room was originally planned in a two-story space. However, this space was much less arrangable, so I suggested creating a dining room in it - which would additionally highlight this space with lamps suspended above the table. The living room, now located further and closer to the garden, has gained greater privacy and the possibility of providing more seats.
