CERAMICZNA

Warsaw   87 m²   Japandi

Scope of the project:
A comprehensive interior design project including execution documentation and selection of furnishings and equipment.

Project description:

Another commission by Moogaa Studio involved the design of an 87-square-metre apartment in the Japandi style. Most of the clients’ inspiration revolved around light grey interiors with accents of light wood tones. This material palette was therefore adopted as the guiding concept for the entire design.

The grey tone of the interior will be achieved through microcement flooring in Resistone technology, custom joinery in light grey acrylic boards, plaster finishes in a matching shade, and granite kitchen countertops. A sense of warmth and comfort will be introduced through materials such as a light grey woven fabric used on the sofa and window curtains.

A distinctive feature of the interior is the wave motif, applied both in ready-made furnishings and bespoke elements. The first example includes The Good Living shelving units placed around the TV wall and in the home office. The wave form also appears in floor lamps, coffee tables, and wall mirrors. Custom-designed elements include upholstered bed headboards featuring this motif, finished with beautiful Dedar Milano fabrics. The wave pattern is also introduced on custom cabinetry fronts, including in the wardrobe, where it is further emphasized by fluted ornamental glass.
