HOUSE IN GĄBIN

Gąbin   140 m²   Contemporary Architecture

Scope of the project:

Development of the architectural concept for a single-family house, with a particular focus on the relationship between the building and its landscape, functional layout, and a custom-designed architectural form and roof structure.

Project description:

This single-family house was designed for a family of four in Gąbin, located in the Masovian Voivodeship. Set on a beautiful plot surrounded by forests, the building was conceived as a natural extension of its landscape, with an architectural form inspired by the vertical rhythm and elegance of the surrounding trees.

The functional layout is based on a simple L-shaped plan, enhanced by a distinctive roof design featuring diagonally arranged ridgelines. This unconventional roof geometry gives the house a unique identity while reinforcing its connection to the forest setting.

The most attractive views of the site were carefully emphasized through a linear arrangement of the living area and bedrooms. Large floor-to-ceiling glazing opens these spaces toward the landscape, allowing natural light and views of the surrounding woodland to become an integral part of everyday life.

The result is a contemporary home that combines simplicity, individuality, and a strong relationship with nature, creating a calm and comfortable living environment for its residents.
